Fellows should be having academic skills, good citizenship, and must have performed some type of community service throughout their years at their High School to be eligible.
The Lions Club’s International has created this exceptional scholarship to free students from educational expenses and focus on their academics. The club realizes how hard it is to complete higher education and help students practice the right to education the club has created these scholarships. The club has designed these programs to encourage the growth of county through such scholarships.
Founded in 1917, the Lions Club’s International by Melvin Jones, an American businessman who was a member of a club named the Business Circle of Chicago. Melvin Jones founded it with the belief that local business clubs should expand from purely professional concerns to working to better their communities. The club has 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in 206 countries and geographical areas of the world.

Supporting Documents
- High School transcripts, community Service Packet, two letters of recommendation (one letter from a teacher/guidance counsellor, and one letter from a supervisor where the community service was performed, and an essay must be submitted.
