2021 LiM Student Speech Contest for Students

The leader in Me is currently welcoming candidates from across the world to participate in its “2021 LiM Student Speech Contest”. The theme for this year is to Demonstrate leadership through service as a school, a family, or an individual.  To compete for this program, candidates will need to create and send a five-minute video on the suggested theme. Recipients can compose the video in their native language, not just in English. The video can be creative or traditional, and the best submission will get wonderful prizes. Entries will be accepted from any student worldwide ages 5 to 19 that attends a licensed Leader in Me School. Parents and guardians are allowed to assist, but the student must do the majority of the work.

The best part of this contest is that the winners will receive a leadership grant targeted at encouraging and supporting students to be leaders by using the grant for making a difference within their circle of influence. This grant will be awarded by FranklinCovey to the 2021 LiM Student Speech Contest winners. For their speech, they can use the topic of what they will do with the leadership grant and how they would like to use it if they are granted the prize. The motive of this amazing program is to bring out the leadership qualities of students and inspire them to take the initiative as a leader. This contest will support the excellent work they always wanted to do for your community, school or family. So if you hold the potential to become a leader and make a positive impact on others lives, then this could be your opportunity to reach your fullest potential.

The leader in Me was originally formed by teachers and a principal who wanted to teach their students life skills alongside academics. Leadership, responsibility, accountability, problem-solving, adaptability, and social-emotional skills are as important as academic studies. Since its launch, thousands of public, private, charter, and magnet schools in more than 50 countries have adopted Leader in Me.
