Strategic Community is aware of the daily struggle of individuals and organizations within their Detriot community, working and striving for equality in their professional lives, to acknowledge and uplift out and community leaders who are living this work and leading by example with passion, excellence, and integrity this program are created. This grant encourages the students to do exceptionally well in their academic careers as well as for the betterment of society.
SCP is a national firm that works with the organization by advising, managing projects, and designing and initiatives that advance equity with and for communities. Strategic Community Partners envisions a world where marginalized communities will secure seats at the table, lead the charges, and bring the solutions that their communities deserve, desire, and need. The firm is unapologetically committed to building the capacity of marginalized communities’ influence, placing power, and resources directly in the hands of those marginalized and oppressed.

The winning candidate will receive funds of $1000. This scholarship makes individual independent and the funds can be used for college tuition, as well as expenses being the classroom including but not exclusive to rent, living expenses, educational conferences, instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits, graduate exam application fees, or textbook
