Fellows should be related to a rural electric cooperative employee or director in the State of Illinois or has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard to be eligible.
The Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) wants to support the deserving students who are associated with them. The association understands that financial burden is the factor which makes education very difficult for students and for relieving this stress and making education accessible for all these scholarships are designed. The process is also very simple for all to access and enjoy its benefits. The association wants the students to turn their dreams into reality through this scholarship.
The AIEC or the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperative was started in 1942 and since then is dedicated to providing their member effective programs to make their lives easy. Who May Be Eligible
Take a look at the criteria set for the eligibility for this scholarship:
- Fellows should be related to a rural electric cooperative employee or director in the State of Illinois or has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard to be eligible.
- Students should be the son or daughter of an electric cooperative member in Illinois or must be enrolled in the Lincoln Land lineworker’s school to be considered.
How to Apply
Please go through the scholarship requirements thoroughly and start the application process if they stand on all. Candidates should submit all the necessary information and materials through the application form. Any late or incomplete submission done will not be accepted. Fellows should submit the applications before the deadline to be considered for the Awards.

One student will be select to award the scholarship of $2000. The funds should only be used to reduce the candidates’ educational expenses needs like books, room or other related costs. This scholarship empowers students to achieve their career goals by working hard and maintaining good academic standing. This scholarship is dedicated to making education easier for deserving candidates.
The last date to apply for the scholarship is April 30, 2021. Later no submissions will be considered to Award scholarship.
