Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) is dedicated to helping the students with their educational expenses with their incredible initiatives. The Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) is excitingly expecting applications for their extraordinary LaVern and Nola McEntire Lineworker’s Scholarship. Fellows should be related to a rural electric cooperative employee or director in the State of Illinois or has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard to be eligible.

The Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) wants to support the deserving students who are associated with them. The association understands that financial burden is the factor which makes education very difficult for students and for relieving this stress and making education accessible for all these scholarships are designed. The process is also very simple for all to access and enjoy its benefits. The association wants the students to turn their dreams into reality through this scholarship.

The AIEC or the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperative was started in 1942 and since then is dedicated to providing their member effective programs to make their lives easy. Their varying services for their members and their near ones are dedicated to helping them to establish a successful life. The service includes service from engineering to public relations. The different initiatives by the association are dedicated to the growth of Illinois growth.

Who May Be Eligible

Take a look at the criteria set for the eligibility for this scholarship:

  • Fellows should be related to a rural electric cooperative employee or director in the State of Illinois or has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard to be eligible.
  • Students should be the son or daughter of an electric cooperative member in Illinois or must be enrolled in the Lincoln Land lineworker’s school to be considered.
