Jumet Charitable Foundation: Building the gaps was started in 2005 by Jan and Julie Jamat interested in building gaps by helping students in completing their education and many other contributions. This is a non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to supporting the students and helping them in completing their education. The current focus of the foundation is on education. The JCF is helping students going from high school to college by providing financial assistance and mentoring during their educational careers, which means building gaps for students in completing their higher education.

Who May Be Eligible?

Are you interested in this program? Then go through the requirements mentioned below:

Applicant should have a high school GPA of 3.50 and must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA or above in college.

How to Apply

Eligible students should download the application form and complete it by filling all the required details. All materials shall be submitted to your Guidance Office. Please ensure all applications contain the items noted in the application and contact the Jumet Charitable Foundation for delivery or pick-up after the deadline. The foundation will accept no late or incomplete applications. Maintain the authenticity of the data you are submitting.

Supporting Documents

  • Official high school transcript, one letter of recommendation from a community member such as an employer, coach, activity leader, etc. must be submitted.
  • A Brief Essay, as it relates to you, on the Importance of a Higher Education, the Value of Mentorship, and the Jumet Charitable Foundation Scholarship.

Benefits

The scholarship is $1,500 annually, provided as $750 per semester for all four years of college. This scholarship motivates students to do better in their academic careers and maintain an overall good academic record. Students are encouraged to follow their dreams through this program and are motivated to achieve their goals. The amount should be utilized to pay the educational expenses of the students.
