The League of Women Voters of Melrose is happy to be a part of students’ educational careers through the exceptional Joan T. Moore Scholarship. The League of Women Voters is happily inviting Melrose high school graduates willing to continue their personal and professional growth by returning to school after a time away from education to apply for their extraordinary Joan T. Moore Scholarship. This scholarship will reduce the load of students and help them focus on academics.

The League of Women Voters of Melrose has initiated the Joan T. Moore Scholarship to relieve the students’ load and help them with their needs. This program is designed to make education easier for students who deserve it. The League is willing to be a part of a student’s academic journey and knows that there can be no better way than helping them with their expenses.

The National League of Women Voters was established in 1920, while the League of Women Voters of Melrose was created in 1948 as a chapter of the National League of Women Voters. The League of Women Voters of Melrose is a non-partisan group that encourages civic responsibility through acknowledged and active participation in all three levels of government: federal, state and local. The League is dedicated to the process of areas through wonderful initiatives.
