JAVA Memorial Scholarship for Lee County Students

Are you trying to pursue your academic inconvenience? Here is the Japanese American Venter Association excited to announce the scholarship to all the JAVA member students ranging from graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and post-graduate and professional education students. They are creating awareness among the students about the educational need and helping the students to fulfil their carving for the studies.

Their aim for approaching this scholarship is to create excellent students for the future of tomorrow. The organization is looking forward to helping the deserving students who will utilize their knowledge for the excellent purpose of the people in the future. In today’s century, the demands and expenses of education have reached the peak. To satisfy these demands and needs, the organization is taking the initiative for helping and providing advanced education to all the students.

The JAVA is an educational, patriotic, fraternal organization that is dedicated to maintaining and extending the institutions of American freedom. The member’s JAVA includes veterans of WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, and the Gulf Wars. Although the majority of the members of JAVA are Americans of Japanese Ancestry, the members are not exclusively Japanese Americans. In memory of various military offices and other idols who played a vital role for the nation, the JAVA has launched various scholarship programs in their memorial.

Who May Be Eligible

Kindly go through the enlisted points below to know more about the scholarship:

  • Applicant must be from the heritage of Haitian
  • Candidates must be graduating senior at Lee County.
  • The student should be involved in a degree or certification program at a technical college, state college, or university.
  • JAVA member who started their membership before 2019 and their children are eligible to apply

How to Apply 

Applicants must fill the complete application and submit it with all the required documents, which are valid before the due date. And send the entire application to javascholarship222@gmail.com. Kindly take note that incomplete or late application will not be eligible for this scholarship.

Supporting Documents 

The requirements of each application differ, but few mandatory documents are:

  • Applicant must submit the complete application
  • Candidates must provide proof of acceptance by an accredited college or university.
  • Applicants must provide evidence of academic score.

Benefits

These scholarships will reduce the burden of the expenses of the students. The amount should only be used for other costs other than paying the freight of the students’ expenses like tuition, fees, books, and other students’ requirements. These scholarships encourage students to achieve their goals overcoming all obstacles. $1,500 scholarship will be given to selected candidates.
