International Business Seminars Scholarships

Many academic institutions are emphasizing the development of international experience and a global mindset within their student bases. Therefore, to encourage this, many institutions are offering scholarships to students specifically for studying abroad. Aside from the scholarships offered by your academic institution, there are general international scholarships offered by several foundations and organizations where you can apply and get a good amount of scholarship awards to cover your tuition expenses. A seminar abroad with IBS is an investment in your education and professional career and it’s important to start thinking about your financial planning strategy early.

IBS offers multiple scholarships for in-person travel seminars only to the students who are enrolled in the IBS seminar. Three scholarships we will discuss in the following article is as follows:

  1. The Founders scholarship
  2. Digital Ambassador Scholarship
  3. Undocumented Student Support Scholarship

The Founders Scholarship was created to support students who want to attend an IBS seminar and have an additional financial need. These awards go to students who are actively finding ways to finance their program with IBS and have thoughtful personal, professional, and academic goals for their time abroad. The role of an IBS Digital Ambassador is to creatively share your experience for future marketing and recruiting purposes. The ideal digital ambassador will be willing to try new things, step out of their comfort zone and candidly share their experience with others. No blogging or video creation experience is necessary, but it may be helpful! We encourage everyone interested in this type of experience to apply. The Undocumented Student Support Scholarship (USSS) was created for undocumented students who want to attend an IBS virtual seminar. These awards go to students who are interested in better understanding the business world, interacting with executives at global companies, and networking with students around the world.

International Business Seminars (IBS) organizes short-term, faculty-led, multi-destination study abroad programs that are designed as ‘your first business trip abroad’ experiences. The purpose of the International Business Seminars (IBS) program is to expose participants to the business environment and practices outside of the United States while providing insight into the cultural, social, and political environments of each country visited.
