Humble ISD Council of PTAs High School Senior Scholarships

The Humble ISD Council of PTAs is happy to be the companion of the students of Humble ISD. They’ve decided to grant scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Humble ISD. Students who wish to continue their education and strive for their goals can take advantage of this scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship in itself is to support students who are focused on pursuing their careers. To avail of this scholarship, students or their parents/guardians must be a member of a local PTA/PTSA in good standing.

The Humble ISD Council of PTAs initiated this scholarship to support students with their higher education and help them achieve their goals. By providing scholarships, they aim to take off the financial burden that students carry on their shoulders. The amount of scholarship can be used for educational supplies. Students can use this scholarship for their educational expenditure and thus reduce their financial stress. With minimum emphasis, students can give maximum attention to their studies and make their dreams come true.

The Humble ISD Council of PTAs is a parent-teacher association that works as a medium of interaction for Humble ISD parents and teachers. This association strives to create transparency between the parents of students and their teachers. Also, they strive to support students with their education and teachers with their profession. The Humble ISD Council of PTAs assist students financially and helps them in pursuing their careers.

Who May Be Eligible

  • Interested Applicants must be graduating high seniors from a public high school in Humble ISD
  • Applicant or applicant’s parent/guardian must be a member of a local PTA/PTSA in good standing.
  • Applicant planning to be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university or a technical institute.

How to Apply

Students applying for the scholarship must apply all the necessary documents to the Humble ISD Council of PTAs. Applications can be mailed at humbleisdptacouncil@gmail.com. Students must submit the application form along with necessary documents with utmost authenticity and punctuality.

Supporting Documents

  • Applicants must submit a type-written, double spaced 250-300 word essay to How PTA has impacted their life
  • Applicants must submit a list of extracurricular activities they participated in during their high school years with a brief description of why they selected each accomplishment.
  • Candidates must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or principal in the school they are currently attending.
  • Applicants must attach A copy of the parent/student’s current PTA/PTSA membership card.

Scholarships provide financial assistance to the students. The scholarship provided by the Humble ISD council of PTAs can benefit students with their educational expenses. The amount of scholarship can be used to carry out educational expenditure. Students can use the amount of scholarship for paying Fees, buying educational materials etc.

Application Deadline

Students interested in applying for this scholarship can start it as the application process is currently open. The application process will be open till March 31st, 2021. No application forms will be accepted after the deadline.
