These funds will benefit those currently enrolled or going to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at a university or college.
These scholarships are open to all fields of study. However, some preference will be provided to applicants interested in majoring in law enforcement, the criminal justice system, and public safety. These scholarship funds will help students overcome their financial barriers, preventing them from taking an important step toward furthering their education. This foundation believes that no student leaves their educational goals or compromise with the low quality of education due to their financial challenges. And to do its part, it has designed such amazing schemes that can benefit students.
Honolulu Police Community Foundation is a federally and state-registered non-profit organization. It is committed to building the bridge between the Honolulu Police Department and the community. This foundation raises and distributes in the form of scholarships to help students with their higher education. It uses also uses this fund to assist seniors who live alone and are at risk of falling. It also provides equipment for the Honolulu Police Department that could not be obtained through the normal budget process.

Who May Be Eligible
This scholarship is open to persons entering or enrolled in an associate degree (two-year) program or a bachelor’s (four-year) program, to persons entering postgraduate studies in a master’s or doctorate program at an accredited university or college in the united states, and to persons desiring to pursue a bachelor’s degree on a part-time basis at a university or college campus on Oahu.

- Proof of acceptance into an associate degree program, a bachelor’s degree program, or a post-graduate program at an accredited university, college, or professional certification program;
- Proof of registration must be received by September 15th and by January 31st of that academic year before the grants for the 1st and 2nd semester are sent to the university, college, or trade school of applicant’s choice;
- Official transcripts of the 1st and 2nd semester.
