The Parekh Family Foundation is organizing the Gunvant & Bharati Parekh College Scholarship. The program is open for the Indian high school seniors and current college students in the United States who are enrolled in college.
The award will be a significant financial assistance for the scholars to achieve their goals. The granted amount will be enough to cover any educational purpose such as tuition, fees, books, travel or any other.
The Parekh Family Foundation was introduced in 2006, in memory of Gunvant Parekh and Bharati Parekh. It is a non-profit, private operating foundation, focusing on activities that embody the ideals and values of the late Gunvant and Bharati Parekh.
Who May Eligible?
Interested students may take a look over the requirements needed to get considered for the program:
- Students in the United States who are seniors in high school or current college students, who are actively enrolled in college as of September 2020 are eligible
- Must be of Indian origin, and must demonstrate academic and personal excellence.
How to Apply
The eligible students can download a Pdf application form and submit it with the required materials to parekhscholarship@gmail.com.
Benefits
The Parekh Family Foundation is to distribute a one-time $1,000.00 check to two students each. The grant is to help to defray the cost of tuition, room and board, or books.
Application Deadline
The application deadline for the scholarship program is July 31, 2020.
