American Indian College Fund Full Circle Scholarship 

Full Circle Scholarship applications are open for American Indian and Alaska Native college students in the United States.

The American Indian College Fund is providing educational funding to students who are pursuing undergraduates and graduate degrees at tribal colleges, non-profit, and accredited schools.

The American Indian College Fund is a non-profit organization established in 1989. This organization holds a motive of providing support to American Indian and Alaska Native students for their higher education through funding and scholarships.

Who May Eligible

Applicants are required to fulfil the given criteria:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Canadian eligible to attend college in the U.S. under provisions of the Jay Treaty
  • Must be enrolled in a certificate, associate, bachelor’s, or graduate program at an accredited tribal, public, or private (non-profit) college or university
  • Full-time enrollment (Full Circle applicants only)
  • Registered as an enrolled member of a federal or state-recognized tribe, or a descendant of at least one grandparent or parent who is an enrolled tribal member. Alaska Natives may use Native Corporation membership. Learn how to prove descent or trace Indian ancestry.
  • At least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Your scholarship may require a higher GPA to maintain eligibility. (Students attending TCUs with less than a 2.0 GPA may be considered for Tribal College and University scholarships; however, each TCU makes this determination individually.)

To participate, applications are required to submit online registration.

Applicants must submit all the required materials to support their application:

  • Digital photo
  • Tribal Affiliation (Upload a copy of your proof of tribal enrollment (ID or CIB) or decadency by submitting your parent’s or grandparent’s proof of tribal enrollment along with your birth certificates that prove decadency.)
  • Transcripts or GED scores.

Benefits

The American Indian College Fund is awarding full scholarship for US students form 35 tribal colleges and universities. TCU Scholarships are granted on a semester basis for scholars to support their study. They will receive awards according to their eligibility.

Application Deadline: May 31, 2020. The scholarship applications are received from Jan 1- May 31 every year.
