The Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting is excitingly inviting candidates for their George N. Boulukos EOCS Scholarships. Fellows should be communicant in an Eastern Orthodox Christian Church recognized by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA: Albanian Orthodox, Antiochian Orthodox, Bulgarian Orthodox, Carpatho-Russian Orthodox, Georgian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Orthodox Church in America (OCA), Romanian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox (Moscow Patriarchate), Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), Serbian Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox. Applicants must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited high school.
The Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting is willing to reduce the candidates’ educational expenses and help them achieve their goals through great scholarships. These scholarships will reduce the load of the expenses on the students through this exceptional scholarships. These funds support the students to achieve their goals by filling the gaps between education and financial needs.
The Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting focuses on Apostolic tradition, continuity and conservatism over 2,000-year history. The Church is also known as the “Eastern Church” to differentiate from the Churches of the West. The Church is working towards bettering society through various programs like scholarships and other initiatives that make education possible for the students. In comparison, the process is also simple for funds.

- Candidates must earn the highest award of an EOCS-recognized Scouting program (e.g., Eagle, Gold). Explorers and Venturers must have attained Eagle Scout and the EOCS Alpha Omega Religious Award.
How to Apply
Candidates should download the application and fill it with essentials. Complete the application with every mandatory information and other mandatory materials to be considered for awards. Scouts should submit their application form by that date, even if all supporting information is not yet available. Without prior contact, late submissions will not be accepted. Benefits
The Church will select two candidates to award $1000 scholarships each year. The funds should only be used to pay the needs like tuition, fees and other requirements. These scholarships help students achieve success in their careers and motivate them to do better. These scholarships make education easy for all.
