Fellows should have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or more and be from the local area of Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Fayette, Grundy, or Tama counties to be eligible.
The MercyOne is pleasingly offering this exceptional scholarship to free students from the burden of their educational expenses and help them make most of their educational years. The Foundation is aware of students’ needs, and for helping them with their mandatory needs, these scholarships have been created. The Foundation is passionate towards providing financial solutions to the deserving students. The easy to access process makes it more convenient for all.

Who May Be Eligible
Here are the mandatory requirements you need to stand on to be eligible for this program:
- Fellows must be graduating high school students and to post-secondary students pursuing a career in a health-related program including medical or dental curriculum, nursing, dental hygiene, medical/clinical laboratory technology, dental technology, radiology technology, medical transcription, health IT, medical office services, surgical technology, ultrasound technology, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and physical therapy.
- Applicants should have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale and should be from the local area of Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Fayette, Grundy, or Tama counties to be eligible.

Only the eligible students should begin with the application process. Candidates should download the form and complete it with all the mandatory information. Please go through the documents needed for the scholarship and collect it before beginning with the application. Do not submit any incomplete or invalid applications. Supporting Documents
- A 300-word essay about yourself, including honors, sports, work, community service, why you are choosing a health-related career and reason you feel that you and/or your family need financial assistance.
- Official copies of all high school and college transcripts and submit a high-resolution electronic image of yours.
Benefits
This scholarship ensures enough funds to reduce the financial burden of the students. The amount must only be used to defray the candidates’ educational requirements like books, fees, and other related needs. These programs motivate students to achieve their goals and promote the growth of their community.
