The scholarship aims to grant financial benefits to the qualified writer currently submitting their first book manuscript to help cover submission costs for contests and reading fees.

GASHER is a journal of literary and visual arts located in Boulder, CO.  It was founded by the poet Whitney Kerutis. Motivated by the discovery and celebration of both emerging and established authors, GASHER Journal aims to provide a platform for ALL artists regardless of age, residency, race, or gender.
