ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarships are offered twice each year in fall and spring semesters. To save your spot in this program, you need to be an undergraduate college/university student or high school senior pursuing a degree in environmental studies, ecology, land use, earth & atmosphere sciences, sustainable land management, environmental biology, sustainable agriculture systems. These scholarships will provide handsome award amount to help students cover their education-related expense, including tuition, books and supplies etc.
Environmental studies related programs help students learn how to create sustainable strategies or solutions to protect the environment. With the increasing pollution and the danger of global warming, it has become more important than ever to promote environmental studies and encourage students to consider earning an education in this field. Keeping this fact in mind, ExtremeTerrain has designed this program. This scholarship aims to raise more awareness for the recreational use of public lands and provide needed support to youth working towards a career in the related fields. Who May Be Eligible?

- Undergraduate college/university students and high school seniors who are pursuing a degree in environmental studies, ecology, land use, earth & atmosphere sciences, sustainable land management, environmental biology, sustainable agriculture systems.
- ExtremeTerrain Scholarships are non-renewable; however, previous winners who are still eligible may submit a new essay that follows the same criteria.
- Entries are limited to one essay per student each semester.
How to Apply
To enter this scholarship content, all you have to do is complete an online application form that requires some personal information like your name, name of your school and email address. Make sure that your information is complete and correct since any incomplete or fake information may lead to disqualification.
Supporting Documents
- A 700 – 1500 word essay describing who you are, why you feel it is important to maintain access to public lands for recreational use and how you plan to use your degree to advocate for the recreational use of public lands.
- Send proof of enrollment along with the submission.
