The Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP) was founded in 1962. The trade association represents owners and operators of stone quarries, sand and gravel pits, and recycling facilities. The IAAP produces construction aggregates and companies that produce silica sand, clay, cement, and other minerals and mineral products. The IAAP also represents many companies that provide goods and services for the aggregate industry.

Who May be Eligible?
Applicant must comply with the eligibility criteria to apply for the IAAP Education Foundation Scholarship Program-
- Applicants must be entering college for pursuing undergraduate work only, on a full-time basis, at an institution of higher learning.
- The applicants must be majoring in a curriculum appropriate with a career in education. Students may choose the following areas of study like Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Science, or Natural History Museum Programs.
- The applicant should have a GPA of 3 on a 4.0 scale. An application from a student with a lesser grade point average may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
How to Apply?
To apply for the IAAP Education Foundation Scholarship Program, the applicant must complete an application form. The student must fill the application form adequately and the supporting documents and submit them to the IAAP Education Foundation, 1115 South Second Street, Springfield, IL 62704.
Benefits
The five beneficiaries of the IAAP Education Foundation Scholarship Program will receive an award of $2000 each. The scholarship will support the students in completing higher education with the granted financial benefits. The recipient will be able to cover up the cost of educational expenses and overcome financial barriers.
