In an effort of educating the society about epilepsy and support the education of those battling this disease, Defeating Epilepsy Foundation has come with amazing scholarship programs for 2021. There are two scholarships currently available for deserving students. Defeating Epilepsy’s intend behind making available such opportunity is to empower and encourage students with epilepsy to advance their education, make achievements in the field they are interested in and establish a positive and productive career regardless of their health and financial conditions. Defeating Epilepsy Foundation believes that earning a quality education is everyone’s right, and no one should be left behind in acquiring the college experience. For these programs, applications will be accepted from graduating from high school, undergraduate and graduate students.

That is the reason why it has designed these programs that also carry the aim of educating people and making them more aware of this disease. These scholarships are a part of its commitment to fighting against epilepsy. Students who are dealing with epilepsy find it difficult to continue with their education. There are many challenges that come in their way of gaining proper education, including financial and health-related. To ensure that students with epilepsy don’t limit their education due to their financial problem, Defeating Epilepsy Foundation is now giving them these exciting financial aid programs.

Who May Be Eligible

- Aspirants must obtain at least a 3.0 GPA.
How to Apply
The application process includes completing an online application form with all correct and legit information and writing down an essay. The form must contain all the complete and right information since the decision will be made based on that information. It is the responsibility of candidates to make sure that their information is not fake and incomplete. The essay must be in a word document and sent along with application to info@defeatingepilepsy.org.

Defeating the Epilepsy Foundation will provide up to two scholarships worth $500 to deserving students.
