Davis & Elkins College Highlands Scholar Program

Are you a graduate from the West Virginia High School or attending public or private schools, or home-schooled, then do not miss on the chance to win Highlands Scholar Program. The Davis & Elkins College Highlands Scholar Program provides significant financial assistance to students who graduated from a West Virginia high school.

The Highlands Scholar Program was started for the graduates from West Virginia High school to provide strong support for four years of attendance at Davis & Elkins College. This scholarship encourages the students to apply for valuable programs different majors at the David & Elkins College.

Davis & Elkins prepare students to live lives of perspective, meaningful, and act responsibly as citizens of multiple communities.

Who May Be Eligible?

Wondering whether you qualify the program? Check the below-given criteria to clarify the needs:

  • The applicant should be a graduate from a West Virginia high school.
  • Candidate should have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or higher on the scale of 4.0 at the time of graduation.
  • Applicants attending public or private schools, or home-schooled applicants are also qualified.

How to Apply                            

Interested applicants should fill-up the application form and submit all the necessary documents. Incomplete applications or incomplete documents will not be considered for the scholarship program.  All the applications are expected to be received before the deadlines to be considered. Late applications will be rejected.

Supporting Documents

  • Applicants should submit their ACT or SAT scores with the application.
  • Applicants should submit their official high school transcript with the application.

Benefits

The winner will receive an amount of $14,000 if the winner chooses to live on campus or if the winner chooses to commute, they will stipend of $11,000. Students in regional highlights scholar program counties, Randolph, Upshur, Barbour, Tucker, Pendleton, and Webster will receive $20000 or $19000 depending on the GPA. The total scholarship amount is $56000 – 80000 on campus or $44000 – 68000 on the commuting four years of attendance at D & E.
