Community Service Scholarship

The R.F Wittmeyer Community Service Scholarship is a precious help offered by the Law Offices of R.F. Wittmeyer, Ltd. The award is allowing U.S applicants who are current high school senior, college and graduate students.

Who May Eligible?

Interested students may take a glance over the eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a current high school senior, college student or graduate student
  • Must be a legal resident of the U.S residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia
  • Must be enrolled in a two to a five-year post-secondary institution for the 2020 fall semester (“Qualifying Institution”).
  • Employees of Law Offices of R.F. Wittmeyer, Ltd., their immediate families along with the persons residing in the same households of such individuals are ineligible.
  • Must have at least a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

How to Apply

The complete application, along with the asked documents is to be emailed to wittmeyer.rf@injurylawattys.com.  The subject line should consist of “R.F. Wittmeyer Community Service Scholarship Application”.

Supporting Documents

  • Must write and submit a 750-1,000 word essay stating “What community service activities have you been involved in and why are you dedicated to your community? Must mention at least one organization you have worked with in the past, are currently working with, or plan to work with in the future.
  • Must provide a professional resume listing your experience, both professional and academic.
  • Must submit an official transcript from your current school.

Benefits

The recipient of the scholarship will get a stipend of $1,000. The amount will be useful to cover any educational expenses.

Application Deadline

The complete application should be received by the committee by 31st May 2020.
