Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition is seeking entries from talented and motivated photographers like you for its 2021 CCCC/Yampa Valley Crane Festival Photo Contest. This competition is for photographers of all level. This program has four categories, and each category is open for the photographer at a particular level. Some of these categories are open for both professionals and amateur photographers. The winning candidates will receive a cash prize along with the chance to get their photographs featured on the Yampa Valley Crane Festival website and Facebook page. The award amount that is in cash is will be varied from one category to another. So if you are in search of an opportunity that gives you the chance to enhance your talent as well as gain recognization, then this contest could be what you are looking for!
This contest is the golden chance for both amateur and professional photographers to take their skills to a new level and get reward and esteem for their talent. Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition was established with the motive of protecting and conserving Greater Sandhill Cranes and their habitat. It has been using science and education to connect people with this iconic species. It is considered a collaborative leader in fostering long-term sustainability of the Rocky Mountain Population of Greater Sandhill Cranes. This foundation started working in response to community discussion regarding the hunting of Greater Sandhill Cranes in Northwest Colorado.

Photographers of all level are welcome to apply.
How to Apply
To apply for this program, applicants will have to send photographs with the following information name, phone number, location of the photo, date pictures were taken, and a title for the image for each photo, and attach each photo in jpeg format. A person can submit two submissions for each category. Make sure that the provided information is correct.

- 1st place – $150 gift certificate
- 2nd place – $100 gift certificate

Yampa Valley Cranes, Professional:
- 1st place – $200 cash
- 2nd place – $125 cash
- 2 Honorable Mentions – $50 cash each
Rocky Mountain Greater Sandhill Cranes outside the Yampa Valley – Amateur and Professional:
- 1st place – $200 cash
Altered Reality Images of Rocky Mountain Greater Sandhill Cranes within and outside the Yampa Valley – Amateur and Professional:
- 1st place – $200 cash
Apart from the cash prize, candidates will also get the chance to get their photographs featured on the Yampa Valley Crane Festival website and Facebook page.
