Broward County Waterway Cleanup Scholarships for High School Seniors

All middle and high school students in Broward County schools have good news. The Broward County Waterway Cleanup is welcoming candidates to apply for their incredibly amazing scholarship contents. If you too are sure about your creativity, then you definitely cannot miss this chance. Fellows should mandatorily be the middle and high school students studying in Broward County schools. There are three contests ongoing Waterway Cleanup Essay contest (high school students), Waterway Cleanup Short Story contest (middle school students), and Waterway Cleanup Recycled Art contest (middle and high school students) students can participate in.

The Broward County Waterway Cleanup or Marine Industries Association of South Florida has always been keen towards creating awareness regarding the waterway cleanup with different initiatives. The Foundation wants to reduce the financial stress of the students by initiating excellent competitions. These competitions involve students Broward county students and help them enhance their creativity. The Foundation knows well that there is no better way of helping the students enhance County growth by rewarding their skills.

The Broward County Waterway Cleanup is organized by Marine Industries Association of South Florida in the United States largest and longest going environmental event. The first Waterway Cleanup happened in the 1970s so that all the community and the waterway can enjoy their exceptional event. Marine Industries Association of South Florida is one of the largest trade organization in South America. The association creates different valuable programs to enhance the Progress of the country and create awareness.

Who May Be Eligible?

Check the requirements mandatory to be eligible for all these competitions:

  • Fellows should mandatorily be the middle and high school student studying in Broward County schools to be eligible.

How to Apply

Please select the competition you are eligible and interested with. Fellows should download the application and fill it with all the necessary details. Complete your assignment and send it to info@miasf.org, with the contest’s title in the subject line. Recycled art projects of the candidates can be mailed or dropped off at the MIASF headquarters at 221 SW 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33312. Any invalid submission will not be accepted.

  • Essay and your project should be submitted with the application. Please do not forget to mention your name, email and phone number in the mail body.

Benefits

All three competitions have different award amount, as mentioned below:

Waterway Cleanup essay contest: $500.

Waterway Cleanup short story: $250.

Recycled art contest: $250.

Application Deadline

Candidates should make sure they submit everything before February 16, 2021. Any late submission done will not be accepted by the Foundation.
