Who May Be Eligible
Please check out the following requirements:
- Candidates must be cancer survivors, age 25 and under, who are high school seniors or graduates or current postsecondary undergraduates;
- Aspirants must be planning to enrol in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year;
- Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
How to Apply
This year, Bristol Myers Squibb has partnered with Scholarship America, which is administering a cancer survivor scholarship. Interested candidates can apply for this program through the online portal of Scholarship America.
Supporting Documents
As a supporting document, candidates will have to provide a current, complete transcript of grades. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
Benefits
This scholarship is $10,000 in amount. Winners will be provided with this award to cover their educational expenses such as tuition, transportation, accommodation, etc. This scholarship will reduce their financial stress and give their educational journey the motivational push that they need.
