2. The English Language Learning Foundation Scholarship

The English Language Learning Foundation Scholarship Program is open to students who aspire to continue their higher education from accredited area colleges and universities. The scholarships amounting to $500 – $2,000 will be awarded only to students who are currently enrolled or are planning to get enrolled in the list of colleges mentioned on the scholarship website.

This scholarship is open to students who are English language learners, defined as students whose native or home language is not English. Have applied and have been accepted in an accredited college or university, have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in high school/ college. 3. Abogados Centro Legal Bilingual Scholarship

The Abogados Centro Legal Bilingual Scholarship is specially offered to minority students who belong to the Hispanic and Latino communities. 7. Hispanic Heritage Scholarship

More than 10,000 students of Hispanic origin are selected every year for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and are awarded scholarships ranging between $500-$5,000. Undergraduates, graduating high school seniors, community college students, and graduate students of Hispanic heritage are eligible to apply for this scholarship. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for high school or 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for college and prove your full-time enrollment. 8. English for Heritage Language Speakers Scholarship Program

The EHLS Program is restricted only to native speakers of languages selected by the program’s federal sponsor, the National Security Education Program (NSEP), and is offered to promote the growth of learning the English language. This scholarship is open to students who speak Arabic, Azerbaijani, Balochi, Bambara, Dari, Hausa, Hindi, Kazakh, Korean, Kurdish, Kyrgyz, Mandarin Chinese, Pashto, Persian Farsi, Punjabi, Russian, Somali, Tajik, Tamashek, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, Uzbek, or the Vietnamese language, and have native language skills at level 3 or higher on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale.
