Bear Valley Springs Association Logo Contest

The Board of Directors at Bear Valley Springs Association is looking to update the BVSA logo and is inviting the community to participate through a logo contest. The creator of the selected logo will receive a $100 gift card, and all logos must be submitted electronically via email. Also, it must include a release from the creator of the logo to Anita Bauer at anitab@bvsa.org by July 1, 2021. The Board of Directors will look over the entries and vote on the logo at their meeting on July 20.

Logo contests are the quickest way for agencies, communities, companies, etc., to update their logos. Entrants can submit their designs and receive a chance to win assorted prizes and/or cash prizes, which can be used however they want. Since logo contests have specific requirements, individuals can participate and try to design logos that they have never tried before. Moreover, this is a simple and easy way to improve the relationship between a community and an association.

Bear Valley Springs is a community with a guarded gate in Kern County, California, United States. This community is located in the Tehachapi Mountains and is part of the greater Tehachapi area. The elevation ranges from 4,121 feet (1,256 m) to 6,934 feet (2,113 m), and the population fluctuates between a low during the winter months to a high in the summer months. According to the 2010 census, the population in Bear Valley Springs was 5,172. For statistical purposes, the US Census Bureau has defined Bear Valley Springs as a census-designated place (CDP). In 1869, the land that the Fickert family settled in was still isolated and remote with a rich, virtually hidden valley, which is now known as Bear Valley Springs. For centuries, this location had been the untamed realm of the American Indian. Over the years, the Fickerts purchased squatter’s rights to 160 acres and expanded their holdings until, by the 1900s, their ranch encompassed a vast region, approximately 25,000 acres.
