Individuals who identify themselves as lesbian, gay and bisexual so on have to go through many challenges throughout their life. Such people struggle a lot to only get access to basic opportunities. LGBTQI students witness underrepresentation, stigma, bullying, exclusion and discrimination at their homes as well as schools. These are the hurdles that stealing their right to gain quality education and get success like others. To ensure the education of such students, Peacock Productions Inc is now offering an excellent program named “Audria M. Edwards Scholarship”. To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must be pursuing post-secondary, under-graduate education in an accredited institution or program during the coming school year.
As per a survey, creating a supporting environment and helping LGBTQI students may improve the education outcomes not only for LGBTQI students but others. To make this happen, we need to be more aware about this because everything starts with awareness. Providing a helping hand to LGBTQI students will contribute to improving their condition in society and nurturing new leaders who belong to this community. Peacock Productions Inc is doing its part by making available this fantastic scholarship program to support such students. This scholarship will make sure that no LGBTQI student go without gaining education and give up on their dreams.
Peacock Productions Inc is a non-profit organization promoting the education of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer community and to eliminate prejudice against that community. This organization administers Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund and gets financial back from donations, variety show proceeds, and community fundraisers.

Who May Be Eligible

- Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary, under-graduate education in an accredited institution or program during the coming school year;
- Candidates should be lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender or have an LGBTQI parent;
- Participants must have resided for at least one year in the state of Oregon or Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, or Wahkiakum County in Washington.
