The Student Relief Scholarship was founded by the American Indian Graduate Center in response to the continuing consequences of the COVID-19 international pandemic and the everyday hardships of native college students during these days. This service offers a one-time relief scholarship to native students suffering financial hardship. The fund can be used to assist students in need. Any native student who meets the below-mentioned requirements is eligible for this scholarship. Applications are open to any individual who is pursuing associate, bachelors, masters, doctorate, or other terminal or professional degrees in any field of study. So, if you are a student who is currently enrolled in any course at a university and are struggling to make ends meet, then this is an opportunity for you.
The American Indian Graduate Center Relief Scholarship aims to support Native American students from financially constrained backgrounds to achieve their academic goals. This will instil strength and resiliency in native students, promote positive identity growth, and support tribal sovereignty. It can also help students succeed academically, and can have a significant impact in the short term and have a knock-on effect at both the individual and group levels. The scholarship hopes to uplift an entire community.
The American Indian Graduate Center and the American Indian Graduate Center for Studies are the major scholarship suppliers for Aboriginal students in the United States. They give out $15 million in scholarships per year and have given out over $350 million in total since their inception. American Indian Graduate Center and AIGCS have empowered Native students from over 500 tribes in all 50 states for the past 50 years. They offer financial resources to American Indians and Alaska Natives who wish to pursue higher education to help them obtain undergraduate, associate, and advanced degrees. To ensure the development and longevity of scholarships, they collaborate with Tribes, the federal government, charities, businesses, and individuals. By addressing the unmet needs of any Native student, they hope to remain the premier national resource for funding and inspiring the next generation of Native leaders in all industries.
