Who May Be Eligible

To be eligible for the Atascosa County Livestock Show Association Scholarship Program applicant must fit into the following requirements:

  • Enrolled and actively participated in a 4-H and/or FFA club in Atascosa County at the time the application is submitted.
  • Applicants should be a high school senior and a graduate for the current year exhibited in the Atascosa County Livestock Show.
  • Fellows must have a plan to attend a college, university, or accredited vocational or technical school.
  • Applicants should be an incoming freshman student having a good academic standing to be eligible.

Students must submit their complete application with all the necessary documents before the deadline. The college will not accept any incomplete applications. Please follow the deadlines strictly.   • Fellows applying for a vocational/technical scholarship submit evidence of aptitudes – such as practical work experience and special programs participation.
  • Candidates must attach an essay about their career plans and goals. (students are requested to keep easy short but brief, maximum of 1 page)
