AAUW Community Action Grants

Applicants should be individuals, AAUW branches, state organizations, or local community-based nonprofit organizations, including universities. Any nonprofit organization and universities that participate in this program should be in the USA. Whatever cash prize you will get by winning this program, you can use that amount for your educational expenses, living expenses, and child care. To apply for this program, you will need documents like proof of highest degree, transcripts, and proof of current enrollment.

Who is Eligible?

Please meet the following requirements first:

·        Applicants should be individuals, AAUW branches, AAUW state organizations, or local community-based nonprofit organizations, including all local universities.

·        The proposed activity directly impact selected girls, before streams, the physical sciences or engineering as a career.

· Nonprofit organizations and universities or colleges must be in the United States.

·        All Organizations and universities should have 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status. AAUW branch and state applicants should have 501(c) (3) or 501(c) (4) tax-exempt status.

·        Members of AAUW organization are not eligible to apply for AAUW’s fellowships and grants.

·        All supporting documents should be clear and original.

How to Apply?

Interested individuals or nonprofit organizations can apply by clicking on Apply now. Applicants will have to fill out the form with the correct information and attach all supporting documents. This program does not receive a photocopy of any document. All papers must be original.

The participants will win a $3,000-$10,000 cash prize. The amount you will win from this program can be used to cover education, living, and child care expenses. This scholarship provides you with financial support for your further study.
