NHSC Scholarship Program

Scholarships are available through the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program (NHSC SP) for students pursuing primary care health professions coaching. In exchange, students are required to provide primary care health help in areas where health professionals are in limited supply. You work and commit to a minimum of two years of full-time service in exchange for a full year of scholarship support. You must serve at an NHSC-approved site in an HPSA. The total number of years you serve will depend on the number of school years of NHSC SP support you received. The CampusRN/AACN Scholarship Program is included in the AACN’s comprehensive scholarship resources listing. This grant is given to exceptional nursing students pursuing their bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degrees. Four times a year, two $5,000 scholarships are awarded to the top applicants. Candidates must have a 3.2 GPA in their current program or at their previous school. Nurse Corps Scholarship Program

The Nurse Corps Scholarship Degree, which is open to all students participating in a diploma, associate, baccalaureate, or graduates nursing program, serves to address the urgent shortage of nurses. This grant requires recipients to work in a health care facility in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA). Nurses Educational Funds Scholarships

Students are enrolled full or part-time in an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)-accredited nursing program who have retained a minimum GPA of 3.6 over at least 12 credits are eligible for the Nurses Educational Funds scholarship program. The amount of each scholarship varies.
