A Step Towards Making a Difference Scholarship

Students who belong to the Hispanic ethnic group have to experience more challenges than others to pursue higher education. These challenges can be having financial crises, less educational opportunities and others. Despite being the largest minority in America, they still go through many problems and adversities when it comes to earning an education or doing the job. Keeping the difficulties of such students in mind, Nursingprocess.org is now helping them finance their higher education in nursing through its ‘A Step Towards Making a Difference Scholarship’. To be benefited from this program, applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in an ACEN or CCNE accredited traditional bachelor of science in the nursing degree program.

Only those who are United States Citizen or Permanent Residents will be able to take advantage of this opportunity. The motive of this scholarship is to nurture the next generation of Hispanic nurses and support the Hispanic students desiring to establish a successful career as a nurse. There are numerous barriers that these students face in becoming a nurse, and somewhere these barriers are the main reason why only 7% of the nursing workforce is Hispanic. This funding opportunity will help students bridge the gap between the Hispanic population and the nursing community. It will also improve the number of bicultural and bilingual nurses in the United States to support an ever-growing multilingual community.

Nursingprocess.org is a premier online destination helping millions of bright nursing students and their families find the right program and school quicker and easier. The mission of Nursingprocess.org is to provide accurate, reliable, and backed by extensive research. Nursingprocess.org is a group consisting of leading educators and healthcare professionals dedicated to providing expert-driven information.
