YouTube Learning Fund Program 2019

YouTube is pleased to announce the YouTube Learning Fund Program worldwide. The program is an initiative that designed to support all those who use YouTube to share their knowledge with the world and the millions of users who come to their platform to learn.

Everyone from around the world who have an account on youtube and managing minimum 25000 subscribers- are eligible to apply. They have an opportunity to improve the learning experience on YouTube and receiving educational support from Youtube.

Those applying to the program also don’t need to have a degree or proper certification in their field, “but successful applicants will be required to demonstrate that they have the expertise and/or that the content they produce is verified by an expert in the field.”

Who May Eligible:

To eligible, the candidates must be following all the eligibility criteria:

  • Creators of multi-session learning content around the world are eligible to apply
  • Applicants must manage at least one YouTube channel with a minimum of 25,000 subscribers
  • Applicants must demonstrate a strategy to develop multi-session content
  • Applicants don’t need to have a degree or proper certification in their field, but
  • Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate that they have the expertise and/or that the content they produce is verified by an expert in the field.

How to Apply & Competitions Rules:

Rules:

The contest includes videos covering a wide range of topics from career skills like as interviewing and resume building, to computer science, like coding for game development and JavaScript basics.

Eligible projects must

  • Come from applicants that manage at least one YouTube channel with a minimum of 25,000 subscribers
  • Demonstrate a strategy to develop multi-session content – multiple videos that build on one another
  • Clearly depict the intent to teach in a factual, informative, and trustworthy manner, indicating expertise and/or a scrupulous approach to accuracy, including but not limited to research, fact checking, and objectivity

Benefits:

  • The funding amount will vary according to each project. Projects will be assessed on content quality, credibility, accuracy, and use of the multi-session
  • YouTube is investing $20 million toward educational content through its new LF program. Through YouTube Learning, they will support selected creators around the world in their creation of multi-session learning content.

Application Deadline:

Application deadline is November 30, 2018, at 23.59 PST. Successful applicants will be notified by January 31, 2019.
