The Architects Foundation is happy to announce its Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship sponsored by Yann Weymouth, FAIA. The following scholarship has two purposes, one is to appreciate and honor the beloved Yann Weymouth, and the second is to provide help and support to the student who has a lack of resources to acquire education but not of dedication and potential. The students are keen on studying to improve their future but are held back because of a lack of finances. The following scholarship upholds an alumni understudy whose work shows an excellent concentration at the design convergence of sustainability, resilience, wellness, and beauty. The grant beneficiary gets $5,000 and mentorship from Yann Weymouth, FAIA, for the grant year.
Regarding eligibility, to be qualified for the Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship, understudies should maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. He must be a US Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the US. He must be a graduate understudy going to a NAAB-authorized engineering program. Past Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship beneficiaries are qualified to reapply in the ensuing years. The candidates will have to submit an original written essay on the topic given on the portal. The deadline to submit your essay to enter the program is January 14, 2022.

Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship are as follows:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- US Citizen
- A graduate student attending a NAAB-accredited architecture program
- Previous Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply in subsequent years.
How to Apply?
The qualified applicants are expected to complete the application form and attach all the below-mentioned documents along with it. In addition to that, the candidates will have to write an essay of 1,200 words that discusses their studies at the design intersection of innovative sustainability, resilience, wellness, and beauty
Following are the documents that need to be attached with your application form:
- A professional resume
- Two letters of recommendation
- A portfolio (5-15 files, submissions should speak to AIA’s design excellence framework)
The Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship supports a graduate student whose work demonstrates an exemplary focus at the design intersection of sustainability, resilience, wellness, and beauty. The winning scholarship recipient will receive $5,000 and mentorship from Yann Weymouth, FAIA, for the scholarship year. The awarded funds can be applied against your further education and help you cover all your tuition costs or other instruction-related expenses.
All entrants are expected to submit their entries no later than January 14, 2022. Any applications received past this date will not be considered and will lead to disqualification from the program. So hurry up and apply before it gets late.
