Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Women’s Overseas Service League Board of Directors’ Scholarship Committee. Scholarships range from $500.00 to $1000.00 per year and may be renewed for a second year if the recipient meets the scholarship award conditions and demonstrates good progress.
The scholarship will help the women to cover their tuition fees across the university in the United States. The graduate women will be getting benefits from the scholarship. The prize money will be $1000 that will be given to the winner. The participants can apply through an application where they need to fill-up the form and write an essay. The scholarship is dedicated to developing in the military or other areas of public service.
WOSL, which has been around since 1921, has done a great deal in that time. It still has a lot of promise for community and veteran service, as well as for teaching our young people.

Who is Eligible?
Scholarships may be awarded to women who meet the following criteria, who dedicate themselves to the development of the military section or other areas of public service. The people through life situations have proven such dedication. The ones who have earned a minimum 2.5-grade point average in a minimum of 12 semesters (or 18 quarter) hours of study at any institution of higher education.
The application will be eligible leading to an academic degree at a higher education institution (Associate Degree or higher). It is possible that the program will be professional or technical in character. Each academic term, agree to enroll for a minimum of six semesters (or nine quarter) hours of study and agree to keep academic standards high.
How to Apply?
Applicants must fill out the whole Scholarship Application form and attach any required evidence, such as a résumé, transcripts, essays, and references, as mentioned on the form.
The winner will be receiving an amount of $1000. This prize money will help in covering up the tuition fees, college fees, and course fees of the participant. The women will get a chance to expand their knowledge and will get a chance to study in the desired college.
Career Aspirations Essay: Outline your career goals in a 250-word essay (no more than 1 typewritten page).
Your essay, headed ACareer Goals@, should explain your dedication to a military or other public-service profession, with examples of how you have already exhibited this devotion via prior or present life events.
All applications will close on March 1, 2021. Any late or incomplete application will not be accepted.
