Dotcom-Monitor is looking forward to encouraging women who hold the desire to do great and make their marks in the field of computing with the help of its scholarship program. Each year, Dotcom-Monitor selects one candidate for this funding opportunity and help him/her with the rising cost of higher education. To get recruited for this opportunity, candidates should be female students currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Canada for the 2020-2021 academic year. Aspirants must have either already declared their major or have completed at least one academic year in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
In today’s time, women are giving good competition to their counterparts in the technical fields, which earlier were considered men-dominated. The impact of only men was seen in these areas since women have been unrepresented, and their accomplishments and work were undermined. A long time back, women were not given even a chance to show their tech industry talent. But today’ women compete with men abolishing all the stereotypes presented in this field. No act of inequity is now able to stop women from doing their best. Keeping this in mind, Dotcom-Monitor is now offering this excellent scholarship to women. This scholarship will support their education and pursuit of a career in computing.
