WMI with many years of experience and different networks has been providing support and financial assistance to the students who have proved to be unstoppable in the face of adversity and are deeply devoted to leading change in their community. WMI provides fund for their college education, help them in leading social service projects during their academic career and stand with them throughout their journey and help them face challenges so that their studies don’t suffer. They focus on providing lifelong support through professional development and social entrepreneurship training which further advance their skills and helps them in making their future better.
So given that, WMI has got an incredible opportunity for students who have just completed their secondary education and planning to or are already enrolled in any program of study at the post-secondary level. WMI is selecting scholars and offering them academic training through this scholarship program. To become an eligible and competitive applicant, one must qualify the eligibility criteria mentioned below and must provide all the required documents and information.
The 2022 WMI scholars program application will begin from December 1, 2021, and will end in March of the next year. There are two methods given for application submission, one is online and the second is through the mail. Both methods are discussed in detail later in the article. Also, there are no fees required for the scholarship application submission.

Who is Eligible?
Following are the eligibility requirements that need to be satisfied for participating in the following scholarship contest:
- Successfully completed secondary education, with good to excellent grades.
- Is 35 or under on March 1, 2022.
- Will be studying in their country or another country in the developing world.
- Is pursuing their first bachelor’s degree or diploma.
- Will be enrolled in a program of study that will benefit the community and contribute to the continued growth and advancement of their home country.
- Plans to live and work in their own country after graduation.
- Has demonstrated their commitment to giving back and has volunteered prior to applying.
- They May have some other funds available for their education but will not be able to go to pursue their tertiary degree without financial assistance.
- Scholars planning to study in the United States, Canada, Australia, UK or Western Europe will not qualify for a WMI Scholarship.
How to Apply?
There are two ways to apply: Online or mail a completed application form along with the asked documents to our office.
APPLYING ONLINE: You will be redirected to a portal where you will be asked to create a free account (username and password), fill out the information, and upload documents. File format types accepted are JPG, PNG, GIF, DOC, DOCX, PDF (version 10 or newer).
MAIL-IN: You will need to print the 2022 application form below (available on 12/1/2021). You are responsible for clearly completing it and attaching all required supporting documents before sending them to us.
Only send one completed application. Incomplete or additional mailings with supporting documents will be discarded. It is highly recommended that applicants apply online to ensure the delivery of their completed applications. Please DO NOT email us completed applications with multiple attachments; we do not accept applications sent via email.

- Official transcript of grades from secondary school
- Official grading key to interpret secondary school grades

Benefits
All the applications will be reviewed and judged, and out of all, the most deserving candidates will be chosen and be announced as the winners. The winner’s name will also be published on their website homepage and the WMI Facebook page and be selected to become the WMI scholar. Those who are not selected will also be notified after August 1.
Application Deadline
The deadline for application submission for the following scholarship is March 1, 2022. No applications will be considered after the deadline.
