National Institute for Labor Relations Research has declared William B. Journalism Scholarship for those journalists who work on law ‘right to work’ which gives workers the right whether or not to join a union as, without the law, employees require to pay dues and fees of the union as a term for employment. The journalists or related disciplines undergraduates and graduates can apply for this scholarship.
The applications and written essay will be reviewed by institute staff, selection committee, Institute representatives, and three essays will be recommended to the Institute’s Board of Directors. Then the final decision will be held at NILRR, where the board will consider the recommendation of the Selection Review Committee and Institute staff. The best and eligible student’s application will be awarded $2000. This will help the student pursue their higher education in journalism or related disciplines. The amount will be directly given to the Institute in the name of the Student, and with this, the required educational fees will be provided. This will help students to grow in their career goals.
National Institute for Labor Relations Research helps people by providing information and resources about labor relation policies to decide on their own whether they want to work for a union or not. The purpose of this organization is to provide necessary resources and information to the public, scholars, and students to uncover the injustice of compulsory unionism. The sources through which information is provided are brochures, briefing papers, and many more.
