Who May Be Eligible

  • Poets of all ages may enter;
  • Candidates can be of any country except Syria, Iran, North Korea, or Crimea.

How to Apply

All candidates must complete an online application form that requires some personal information such as name, email address, phone number and address. Please mention all the right and complete information in this form since it will be helpful for judges to make the right decision.

Supporting Documents

Write down a poem of 250 lines maximum in English. Inspired gibberish is also accepted. Upload it to your application form.


The awards are distributed as fellow:

  • First Prize: $2,000 plus a two-year gift certificate from our co-sponsor, Duotrope (a $100 value)
  • Second Prize: $500
  • Honourable Mentions: 10 awards of $100 each
  • Top 12 entries published online
