The VWGoA/UNCF Corporate Scholars Program, sponsored in collaboration with Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., is looking for full-time juniors majoring in business, marketing, information technology, or engineering who have demonstrated leadership, community service, and analytical ability during their college career. Candidates will be chosen to intern during the summer of 2022.
Depending on the function, a paid summer internship at Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. in 2022 could be virtual or onsite. The participants getting the opportunity will be chosen for an $11,500 Merit-Based Scholarship to be used during your senior year. The lucky winners will get to enter the UNCF Online Program for Career Readiness and Leadership Training. The post-graduation will get the consideration of employment opportunities.
Since its inception, UNCF has assisted over 500,000 students in obtaining their college diplomas. UNCF is the country’s largest private provider of minority group scholarships. Each year, the organization awards more than $100 million in scholarships to students from over 1,100 schools around the country, including the distinguished network of 37 historically black colleges and universities.

Who is Eligible?
The following qualifying requirements must be met by all qualified participants in the VWGoA/UNCF Corporate Scholars Program:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for junior undergraduate students attending full-time at an accredited educational institution (must be a junior at the time of application)
- A citizen of the United States of America
- An undergraduate major in business, marketing, information technology, or engineering is required.
How to Apply
Students must complete an online application and include a one-page personal statement of professional ambitions that explains why they want to be a part of the VWGoA/UNCF Corporate Scholars Program and why they want to intern with VWGoA. Extracurricular activities, honors and awards, community service, and interests both inside and outside of their major will be included in the application. A current resume and transcript will be requested of students.
A single winner will be picked and will receive an $11,500 scholarship. The winner will also be benefitted from improving critical thinking abilities, improving project management skills, improving communication skills, both verbally and in writing, boosting workplace efficiency, Workplace readiness and manners of the highest caliber, Enhancing networking abilities, and Interacting with industry, corporate, and national leaders who are highly inspirational.
The scholarship deadline is January 4, 2022. After the deadline, no applications will be accepted.
