They believe that age is just a number according to education. They believe that there is no age limit for education. The organization is pleased to know that you have got that excited about the studies. The Virginia Ruff Women’s is pleasingly welcoming female students to apply for their worthy scholarships. This fund will be awarded based on academic performance, financial assistance, and the need for a scholarship.
They aim at motivating female students in education and reducing their burden of fees. The Virginia Ruff Women’s Scholarship is well aware that completing education is very difficult and simultaneously important considering students’ expenses and for supporting adequately through their needs these scholarships have been created. The organization understands how difficult it is for women to survive in the male-dominant cooperate world. For helping them stand firm and have their own identity, these scholarships are proposed. This scholarship provides financial assistance to women trying to seek education and re-enter the market, advance and be self-sufficient, and have the power to create their own identity.
The Honours Virginia Ruff, who was a member of Bedford BPW for more than 50years. Miss Ruff dedicated her whole life to providing the best education for herself to the Bedford children as a teacher at the Montvale schools and as a librarian at Bedford and Liberty High Schools. She was retired in 1973. In her remembrance, this scholarship is initiated.

How to Apply
Applicant must submit the complete application without making any errors and all the valid documents. The application and documents must be sent through the Mail service in a sealed envelope to Karen May 1222 Wright Farm Rd., Bedford, VA 24523 before the due date.

- Fellows must submit a transcript with the GPA if they have attained college in the past 5years.
- Students must provide two letters of recommendation concerning either employer, co-workers, counsellor, or friends.
