If you answered yes to any of these questions, here is your opportunity to make your pet a celebrity. You read that correctly! Your pet can be a tv star and earn an actual award for best pet video. All you need to do is enter Vallejo Community Access Television Cat and Dog Video Contest! So get your pet on TV, and you might win a reward. It is a fundraiser program, where winners will be determined by public voting. Everyone has the right to vote as many times as they choose.
Each vote represents a $1 gift to Vallejo Community Access Television. A part of the earnings will be donated to JnW Reptile Rescue. JnW Reptile Rescue is committed to reptile education, rehabilitation, and re-homing where appropriate. It is a non-profit organization that relies completely on contributions to keep these creatures alive and well. The top three winners in each category (1st through 3rd) earn a trophy and bragging rights at the very least. Additional prizes will be selected based on donations from sponsors.VCAT will contact all qualified Winners after the event. If an eligible winner cannot be notified within seventy-two (72) hours of the Contest’s conclusion, the Prize may be lost.
Vallejo Community Access Television (VCAT) is a community media service center that offers facilities, tools, and training to let anyone create their own shows. VCAT is a non-profit organization that works in collaboration with the Vallejo City Unified School District and Solano Community College. VCAT’s purpose is to provide public access to television to Vallejo citizens to raise community awareness and pride, improve educational possibilities, and promote local talent. VCAT offers video production training to city residents and workers of Vallejo enterprises, as well as technical guidance to help you generate material for television and online.

Who is Eligible?
All contestants who submit a submission to the Contest must satisfy the following requirements:
- Entrants must be at least 18 years old as of July 18, 2021, to be eligible to win.
- This contest is only open to residents of the United States, and by participating, you accept that this Contest is subject to and controlled by the laws of the State of California, USA.
- All Submissions must be original videos created by the Entrant.
- Without the explicit permission of the underlying copyright owner, entrants may not incorporate pictures, video clips, or music made by others.
- All work must be submitted in digital format online.
- The file must be in one of the following formats:.mp4,.mov,.mpeg-4,.mpeg,.mkv.
- The file size must not exceed 450MB.
How to Apply?
To apply, visit https://www.vcat.tv/form/ and fill out the form. Fill out the official Contest online entry form (the “Entry Form”) completely, including first and last names, pets’ names, pet video descriptions, additional pet information, contact information, and the entry fee per pet video successfully received. Pay the $25 contest entry fee per pet / each video submission using the PayPal link. Only one video entry per payment is permitted.
Benefits
