Who May Be Eligible?
Candidates are to meet the following requirements to be eligible for the scholarships:

How to Apply
There is no separate application process that is to be completed for students to be recipients of the scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded competitively. The earlier applicants apply, the better will the scholarships be. Students are also advised to complete the FAFSA to be considered for maximum benefits.

The benefits of the scholarships are given below:
- UTRGV Scholars Program: Award amount up to $20,000 for four years.
- UTRGV Housing Scholarship: Award amount up to $12,000 for four years.
- Entering Freshman Gateway: One-time award up to $3,000.
Application Deadline
The scholarships are given on a rolling basis until all funds are dissolved. The application for admissions must be submitted on or before December 1, 2020. Late and incomplete applications will be disqualified.
