UOFL Scholarships

The University of Louisville is now sponsoring excellent scholarship programs for truly deserving students looking forward to studying at this institution. These scholarships are made possible to promote and make the undergraduate level education of the University of Louisville affordable to more students. These funds are effective in the academic year of 2020-2021. All first-time freshmen of the University of Louisville can qualify for these funding programs. These programs do not require a separate application and will be awarded as part of the admission process.

Who May Be Eligible?

Eligibility requirements vary from one scholarship to another. The basic requirement is that the candidates must be first-time freshmen of the University of Louisville.

  3. GSP, GSA, GSE Award – $7,500
  4. GSP, GSA, GSE Award – Full in-state tuition
  5. National Merit Finalist Scholarship – Full in-state tuition, $8,000 educational allowance
  6. National Merit Semifinalist Scholarship – Full in-state tuition
  7. Trustees’ Competitive Scholarships – Full tuition + $3,500 final award amount
  8. Woodford R. Porter Scholarship – Educational fund
  9. Kentucky Dataseam Scholarship – $2,000 renewable award
  10. Brown Fellows Program – Full in-state tuition, plus additional education allowance
  11. Grawemeyer Scholarship – Full in-state tuition, plus $8,000/year educational allowance
  12. McConnell Scholars – Full tuition, plus the educational allowance
  13. Martin Luther King Scholars Program – Full tuition, plus $8,000/year educational allowance

Scholarships for out of state students

  1. Regional Scholars Program – $10,000-$16,000
  2. National Scholars Program – $5,000-$15,000
  3. National Merit Finalist – $20,000 National Scholars Award
  4. National Merit Semifinalist – $15,000 National Scholars Award
  5. Brown Fellows Program – Full tuition, plus additional education allowance; 10 awarded
  6. Grawemeyer Scholarship – Full in-state tuition, plus $8,000/year educational allowance; 10 awarded

Application Deadline

The application deadline varies from scholarship to scholarship. Early applications will be given preference. Candidates need to send their application by the deadline of their chosen program.
