Chancellor’s Scholarships

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is glad to announce you a Chancellor’s Scholarships. The program is merit-based competitive scholarship program that is open to incoming first-year students. Volunteer Scholarship

University of Tennessee, Knoxville is offering you a Volunteer Scholarship. Incoming first-year students with a minimum 3.8 GPA who apply for admission by December 15 for the fall 2018 semester are eligible. You must matriculate for fall semester immediately following your graduation from a US high school, and be a US Citizen, or permanent resident to be considered. When combined with the HOPE Scholarship, in-state recipients of the Volunteer Scholarship may receive up to $11,500 during their first and second years at UT and up to $12,500 during their third and fourth years.

The Mocs Scholarship Program for First-Time Freshmen

UTC is pleased to present the Mocs Scholarship Program for First-Time Freshmen applicants who meet 3.4 GPA and 24 ACT composite (1180 SAT) will receive $2,000 per year.  Students may receive an additional $3,500 in Tennessee HOPE Lottery Scholarship funds, if eligible. This award is renewable for up to three (3) additional years based on the student’s academic performance.

Scholarships for International Students

The University of Tennessee offers several scholarships to international students, including the International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship (IUMS). All eligible international undergraduates who are offered regular (non-conditional) admission are automatically considered for this scholarship. The award is 5,000 to 15,000 US dollars (USD) per year (2,500 USD to 7,500 USD per semester). It is renewable for freshmen for up to eight semesters or transfer students for up to four semesters.
