The University of South Alabama works as a public research university located in Mobile, Alabama. It was created by the Alabama Legislature in May 1963 and replaced existing extension programs operated in Mobile by the University of Alabama. Who May Be Eligible?
Applicants willing to apply for the scholarships must have a look below:
- Students must be a U. S. citizen, applied for Permanent Residency, or Permanent Resident attending a U.S. High School;
- Must be an incoming first-time freshman;
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 High School GPA and an ACT of at least 21 (or SAT equivalent).
How to Apply
Students interested in attending the University of South Alabama and also eligible according to the above criteria will be automatically considered for the scholarship funds. Applicants have to apply for admission at the university and do not require submitting any other credentials to get the scholarship funds.
Benefits
The University of South Alabama will be providing adequate funds up to $8000 to deserving incoming freshmen students with good academic records. The recipients of the program will receive the funds according to their ACT or SAT scores as well as high school GPA. These scholarship awards will be provided to students every year.
