To provide financial assistance to talented students with limited financial means, the University of Oregon in partnership with Stamps Family Charitable Foundation is actively sponsoring the fantastic Stamps Scholarship. This funding programme will benefit to all incoming students from around the United States.
Stamps Scholarship is the most prestigious and generous undergraduate scholarship. The University of Oregon offers up to ten students, five Oregon residents, and five out-of-state students, this merit-based scholarship annually. This scholarship will provide monetary aid to all eligible students who might be facing financial problems in gaining higher education.
The University of Oregon enjoys a good reputation for excellence in teaching and research. It is situated at a beautiful location, between mountains and an ocean, in Eugene, Oregon. It was formed in 1876 and currently has grown into a thriving and diverse community comprising tens of thousands of students and faculty members. The campus of the university houses a plethora of amazing facilities. This institute operates five colleges and four schools that offer over 325 degree and certificate programmes.
Who May Be Eligible?
Please go through the eligibility criteria to check whether you are eligible or not:
- Aspirants must be incoming domestic freshmen;
- Candidates must hold a minimum 3.85 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.00 scale;
- Applicants must have a minimum 1300 SAT or 28 ACT;
- Entrants must demonstrate leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service, and innovation.
How to Apply
To consider your candidacy for this wonderful programme, first of all, you will have to apply for admission in any eligible undergraduate programme at the University of Oregon by November 1. You will get an e-mail for an invitation to enter the UO Scholarship Dashboard after successfully taking admission. After that, you will have to complete the Stamps Scholarship Application within the UO Scholarship Dashboard by November 15. Completed application for the scholarship must be sent with required supporting documents to the Admissions Office of the university by the deadline.

All applicants are required to send high school transcripts and standardized test scores with their scholarship application.
Benefits
Stamps Scholarship will grant the award in the form of resident tuition, fees, room, and board for four years of undergraduate study. Out-of-state participants will receive non-resident tuition and fees. In addition to this, the programme will also provide an award worth $12,000 that will help students pursue study abroad, unpaid internships, or other experiences.
