To assist promising students in achieving their higher education goals, the University of Louisiana is now awarding generous funding programs. These scholarship offers are effective for the academic year 2021-2022. The motive of these amazing scholarships is to make University of Louisiana’s higher education affordable and attainable for more students who find it difficult to pay for tuition. For these programs, the university will recruit first-time first-year students who hold a 3.0 cumulative non-weighted GPA. These scholarships are renewable for eight semesters.

To be eligible for these scholarships, please meet the following requirements:
- Candidates should be first-time freshmen for 2021-2022;
- Applicants must have a 3.0 cumulative non-weighted GPA.
How to Apply
There is no need to send a separate application for these scholarships. Applicants will automatically be selected when they apply for an approved study program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Scholarships will be awarded based upon the information submitted in your application for admission.
Benefits
The university is currently offering these three scholarships. The award amount is varied depending on your ACT / SAT score:
- Live Oak Scholarship – $1,000 – $1,600
- Magnolia Scholarship – $1,000 – $1,400
- Cypress Scholarship – $1,000 – $1,200

The applications must reach to the university before or on January 31, 2021. After this date, applications will not be accepted. Early applications will be given priority.
