- Applicants must be incoming freshmen students of University of Chicago;
- Scholarships will be offered based on academic achievement, extracurricular achievement, demonstrated leadership, and commitment to their communities.
How to Apply
No additional application is required. All candidates who have successfully taken admission in an undergraduate program at the University of Chicago will automatically be considered for these scholarships. Application for admission will work as an application for scholarships. Candidates are required to send their application on time with all the necessary materials.
Benefits
The University of Chicago is currently providing four scholarships which are renewal for four years. The award varies from one scholarship to another:
- A University Scholarship – Cost of attendance.
- A Dean’s Scholarship provides – Fund for one summer opportunity, which recipients can use for a summer internship, a summer research project, or a UChicago Summer Quarter course.
- A President’s Scholarship – Fund for two summers
- A Provost’s Scholarship – Research-specific funding for three summers and three academic years, plus a travel stipend.
Application Deadline
The application deadline for admission is January 4, 2021. There is no need for a separate application for scholarships. Application for admission will be considered as an application for scholarships. So all candidates will have to send their application before or on admission deadline.
