Unitil Scholarship is intended to help talented high school students with the completion of their undergraduate program in the field of STEM. Academic merit, financial need, other scholarships, outside student activities, and other relevant variables such as the number of hours worked outside of class during the school year will all be considered by the Unitil Scholarship Committees when making scholarship selections.
Six high school graduates from STEM communities in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts will be awarded $5,000 for their first year of university education. The deadline to submit your completed application is April 1, 2022, and awardees will be notified of their selection by mail by April 30, 2022. If an award is denied or the recipient becomes ineligible, an alternate winner will be chosen for each scholarship. Unless the original winner rejects or becomes ineligible, the alternate winner will not be contacted. A prior Unitil scholarship recipient is not eligible to apply for another Unitil award.
Unitil Scholarship Fund was established to help high school graduates in the present service regions of New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts who look promising in science, technology, engineering, or math.
