The Unifor 26 Local has implemented this scholarship to help the Unifor 26 Local students grow higher in their education. Unifor 26 Local wants to reduce the academic burden of the educational expenses on the students and motivate them to achieve their academic goals through this scholarship. The organization promotes encouraging the students to contribute through their academic performance to make the most of the provided scholarship.
Unifor 26 Local are ensuring to help the student’s members to motivate their interest in academics. Unifor 26 Local understands that education expenses have increased a lot, and it is difficult to receive affordable academics considering students’ fees. To support adequately with their needs, these scholarships have been initiated.

Who May Be Eligible
Kindly go through the eligibility criteria listed below;
- Applicant must be Unifor Local 26 members in good standing.
- The Fellow must be members who retired in good standing.
- Students must be attending full-time undergraduate study at an accredited college, university, nursing or technical school offering credit courses.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit the complete application before the due date attached with the required documents and information in the application. The application must be sent through email at donovan.nezbeth@unifor26.org or send to the local Office at 9-5225 Orbitor Drive, Mississauga, L4W 4Y.

- Students must submit the proof of membership of Unifor Local to them or their parents.
Benefits
These scholarships will decrease the burden of the expenses of the students. The awarded scholarship amount should not be used for other expenses except paying the freight of the students’ expenses like tuition, fees, books, and other students’ requirements. These scholarships motivate students to achieve their goals overcoming all obstacles. Three students will be selected to award scholarships worth $1000 each.
